the municipal corporation, which governs this suburb of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The project involved the survey of 500,000 properties,
import of Differential Global Positioning System survey data for 364 square kilometers, and integration with existing and planned
Bentley Map was instrumental in the integration and design of data from diverse sources in order to quickly generate drawings, profiles,
and reports. The software substantially reduced man-hours required for data input, resulting in optimization of project delivery costs.
Creating a Web-based database for viewing all assets in the Vasai Virar area improved property tax collection significantly. The system paid
for itself within six months.
