Larimer County, Colorado, completed a USD 128,500 project to develop a road information locator (RIL) that makes authoritative road asset
and enterprise GIS data accessible to county employees and the public. The RIL uses a graphical, point-and-click online interface with
interactive maps, textual search, and analysis tools. It eliminates the inefficiencies that occurred when information requests went through
technicians operating separate systems.
Exor’s Linear Referencing System provided the tools needed to integrate roadway assets with the linear roadway network. The normalized
data provided the basis for integration with the county’s spatial data sets. Exor’s sophisticated data analysis tool enabled delivery of
information and aggregated data sets for analysis in the RIL. The RIL has become a valuable tool for transportation planning, asset
management, and public safety.

Innovation in Government
This EUR 1.5 million project involves the development of public roadway spaces bordering on the Philharmonie de Paris (Paris Philharmonic Hall).
These improvements are a natural continuation of those already completed in conjunction with the extension of the T3 tramway line serving the
hall, which is slated for completion in January 2015. They include approaches to facilitate public access and ensure the safety of pedestrians.
Site constraints in this high-traffic environment, combined with overlapping phases of roadwork and a short five-month construction timeframe,
were the primary challenges. Bentley software provided a basis for developing 2D and 3D plans for consultation and communication with
project partners and stakeholders. The automated features and specific functions of PowerCivil for France saved the design teams many hours
