The goal of this reconstruction project in Xianyang, China, was to upgrade the existing irrigation system to increase safety for 1,000 people
in surrounding villages and to provide irrigation capabilities for 777,000 mu (approximately 51,800 hectares) of farmland in eight counties
and/or districts. A unique challenge of this CNY 55 million project was the three types of aqueducts that had to be constructed and installed
within a limited time.
All departments and disciplines throughout Henan Water & Power Engineering Consulting Co. communicated through Project Wise and
Bentley Navigator, saving about CN Y 50,000 in communication costs while improving overall communication efficiency and quality. To

cost estimate systems – reduced the project implementation period by 25 percent.
