For this INR 4. 5 billion project in Mandi, India, Frischmann Prabhu (India) Pvt. Ltd. delivered tender documents and construction drawings for
all engineering planning and design based on the finalized master plan and architectural plans for a water supply system, sewerage system,
stormwater drainage system, rainwater harvesting system, solid waste management system, sewage treatment plant, and water
Frischmann Prabhu used WaterGEMS, StormCAD, and SewerCAD for the hydraulic design of the water supply distribution system, stormwater
drainage system, and sewerage system. The software significantly reduced the man-hours required to perform the design, which resulted in
faster delivery to all stakeholders and reduced project delivery time. Frischmann Prabhu submitted the tender documents and construction
drawings ahead of project schedule.
Dar Al Omran, H&S, and NOD partnered on this fast-track USD 75 million project for MCA-J to restructure and rehabilitate the water
networks of Zarqa and Russifa, Jordan. The sheer scale and complexity of this unique project was compounded by difficult site topography
and the intermittent nature of the existing supply network. The detailed design was dependent on the hydraulic modeling of the primary and
secondary model and 32 sub-models.
WaterCAD facilitated the development of the complex base models, model scenarios, and subsequent migration of designs from the models
to the detailed design and tender drawings. WaterCAD’s interoperability with AutoCAD and ArcGIS allowed the transfer of existing GIS/
network data into the model as part of the model build phase, developing complex water network models efficiently and cost effectively
while minimizing modeling resources.
