The project encompassed the installation of the complete coal-handling system along with associated auxiliaries, including the complete
civil works for the power plant. Lalitpur Power Generation Company Limited (LPGCL) used STAAD.Pro to optimize and submit the design on
schedule. STAAD.Pro enabled LPGCL to test different alternatives to achieve the best model, which consisted of 23,000 plate elements and
2,600 line elements.

3x660 MW Lalitpur Super-thermal Power Project Coal-handling Package
The goal of this EUR 7 million project in Amsterdam, Netherlands, was to construct a mosque for the Turkish community made of 200 tons
of steel and featuring 24 trusses. For the cover of the dome, Siem Steur Staalconstructies rolled and anodized the aluminum tubes for
manufacturing. For successful installation, it was critical that the detailed calculations, production, conservation, and assembly were accurate.
Siem Steur Staalconstructies used ProSteel to design the structure and model the trusses situated on a steel ring. A particular challenge was
the dome, a design in which everything needed to be perfectly round, both vertically and horizontally. ProSteel’s ability to provide automatic
creation of documentation and details resulted in the rafters all coming together in the steel ring at the top as conceived by the designers.
