For this project located in an industrial park in Liempde, Netherlands, Bos Constructie designed and constructed the steel elements of a
new building owned by Bouwservice Liempde. The main challenge was the canopy located on the backside of the building. Although it was
important that the load balance on the different parts of the steel construction be accurate, it was even more so when an element was
outside of the main construction.
Bos Constructie used ProSteel for this EUR 100,000 project, primarily due to its ability to integrate other vendors’ software such as
AutoCAD. The information written in the models continued to be visible in AutoCAD when integrating the ProSteel design. With ProSteel,
accurate calculations were assured. Since the 3D models did not need to be changed later due to errors introduced into the process, the
software paid for itself within a year.

With a broad background in new construction as well as building renovation and expansion, Byggnadstekniska Byrån i Stockholm was
contracted by Bonnier Fastigheter to take responsibility for all phases of building construction for this new square in the Hornstull area of
Stockholm, Sweden. The company leveraged its expertise in building construction and structural, foundation, and geotechnical engineering.
This project was technically challenging because of its complex geometries. Byggnadstekniska Byrån i Stockholm used the latest
technologies including AECOsim Building Designer, MicroStation, and ProSteel. The 3D models reduced design time, eliminated costly
errors, minimized risk, and promoted a better understanding of the complicated project across a wide range of stakeholders.
