The Korea Rail Network Authority’s Dongtan Station under construction in the city of Osan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, is located in the
fifth section of a new 61-kilometer high-speed rail line from Suseo to Pyeongtaek. This 2.6 kilometer section of the Korea Train Express (K TX) line
is about 50 meters below ground level.
Seoyeong Engineering Co. Ltd. was retained by Samsung C&T Corporation to build the BIM model, which was instrumental in identifying
potential design and construction problems, and supporting site management. Seoyeong optimized the construction plan using Bentley Navigator
to analyze the 3D model created in AECOsim Building Designer. A 4D simulation optimized the schedule and proactively prevented delays.

The Czech Railway Infrastructure Administration (SZDC) retained SUDOP PRAHA for the USD 329 million reconstruction of the railway
section from Praha Hostivar to Praha Vrsovice stations in the Czech Republic capital city of Prague. To improve interconnecting services
between the railway, city buses, and trams and to decrease noise in the residential area, SZDC will cancel service on the existing line and
eliminate the Praha Strasnice stop.
Replacing theses services will be the new Praha Zahradni Město station and Praha Eden stop, located in densely built-up areas intersecting
with frequently used public transport. SUDOP PRAHA designed the project using Project Wise for central data storage and MicroStation for
design, making coordination very easy. Bentley software reduced the time and cost for project delivery by 20 percent.
