Built for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, the Adler–Krasnaya Polyana road is a combined rapid transit, automobile, and railway
line running a length of 48.2 kilometers. The carrying capacity is 8,500 railway passengers per hour and 11,500 vehicular passengers per

The rapid transit system covers three corridors totaling about 71 kilometers through an environment that required tight geometry and takes
the metro rail viaduct over 80 road junctions. Mosgiprotrans JSC was challenged to fast-track construction while ensuring the operational
reliability of the 30 kilometers of tunnels under daunting climatic, topographical, and geological conditions. Bentley technology included
Bentley Rail Track and MicroStation.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh, India, awarded Larsen and Toubro Limited (L&T) the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project, the world’s largest
public-private partnership project in the metro sector. L&T formed L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited to implement the project on a design,
build, finance, operate, and transfer basis. A team of world-class consultants is executing the INR 16 billion project.
The rapid transit system covers three corridors totaling about 71 kilometers of sharply curving terrain. Construction will take a metro rail
viaduct over 80 road junctions. Alignment design performed in Bentley Rail Track considered the multi-faceted constraints to ensure design
parameters were within permissible limits. Project Wise enabled collaborative design and data sharing across the project team. Bentley
