Terri peters is a designer and architecture critic. She is a registered architect in the United Kingdom, with professional experience at both
large and small offices in london. Specializing in the field of sustainability and new technologies, over the last decade she has written more
than 200 building reviews, interviews, and editorials for magazines such as Mark, Frame, Azure, and The Architects’ Journal. She is the guest
editor of a special issue of Architectural Design titled, “experimental Green Strategies: redefining ecological Design research,” published by
John Wiley & Sons.
Sustainable Operations Solutions, LLC
Jim porter is the founder and president of Sustainable operations Solutions, llc, providing consulting services to help companies make
significant and sustainable improvements in workplace safety, process safety management, capital effectiveness, and operations productivity.
He recently retired from Dupont, where he had served as chief engineer and vice president of engineering and operations since 2006.
Throughout his 35-year career at Dupont, porter held senior management positions in safety, health, environment, and engineering. He served
on multiple boards of directors and is currently a member of the board for Argonne national laboratory, chemical Heritage Foundation, national
research council Board on Infrastructure and the constructed environment, and University of Tennessee college of engineering Board of
Advisors. porter is a fellow of the American Institute of chemical engineers and a member of the national Academy of construction.
cyrena respini-Irwin is the senior editor of Cadalyst, which provides essential information about computer-aided design and related software
and hardware technologies for the fields of Aec, manufacturing, and GIS. She previously served as the managing editor of GeoIntelligence and
the senior editor of Geospatial Solutions.
paul sage, Ms., ceng, MIce, MIceM
paul Sage is managing director of WITSconsult limited, which he established in 2009 after retiring from United Utilities, one of the United
Kingdom’s largest listed water companies. He is a chartered engineer with 36 years of experience in water engineering. This has included a
20-year association with water mains network modeling. In recent years, he has concentrated on the use of optimization methods within this
modeling area. recent work has included extensive investigation of new field testing methods and water network modeling and optimization to
see how field test techniques improve optimization outcomes.

Susan Smith is managing editor of GISCafe and AECCafe, both online portals serving the geospatial and Aec industries, respectively. Smith has
been an editor and writer for the technology industry for 19 years and has been responsible for the launch of print and online publications and
portals including GISCafe and GISVision Magazine in 1999, and GISWeekly and AECWeekly in 2002.
martyn Weir is the managing director of pDc consultants, one of the largest and most experienced engineering design, detailing, and 3D BIm
consultancies in the world. prior to joining the company, Weir held senior structural and project engineering positions on major construction and
design projects in Australia and abroad. His business and commercial experience give him a unique understanding of the concept of information
modeling. He leads an experienced team to deliver the company vision to offer project solutions through efficiency across the project lifecycle.
