INNOVATION IN BuILDINg

c11 exo Hybrid Building
The c11 site in the Victoria Harbour master plan was designated for a multideck
car park with 570 spaces serving the surrounding commercial district. The
triangular shape and prime location made design a challenge. The project team
proposed an unconventional solution: a seven-level car park below four levels
of residential units. The hybrid building is cloaked in a façade system that
disguises the mixed use.
The project team used microStation and Bentley Architecture to collaborate
with various consultants on multiple options for site layouts. multiple
iterations were produced in relatively short periods of time. The optimum
design included an efficient use of e Xo-skin panels, which created a random
look for the abstract building form. project Wise was used to manage files and

lg chem 4AA project
Ochang, South korea
lG-Toyo engineering was engaged for the design and construction of lG chem’s
battery plant in the ochang Industrial complex in South Korea. With an annual
production capacity of 100 million electric car batteries, the plant is the largest
in the world.
The lG chem 4AA project involved a three-story building. project Wise
Integration Server was used to facilitate collaboration and design resource
distribution among lG-Toyo engineering and its project partners. As a result,
lG-Toyo engineering established a successful system for collaborative design
on the project.
