The $625 million national Stadium in Warsaw, poland, is a multifunctional,
55,000-seat arena designed to symbolize poland’s renaissance and future
aspirations. located in the city center sports complex, the new stadium is
built on the foundation of a 50-year-old stadium that had once been one of the
largest stadiums in poland.
As host to the opening game for the 2012 championship of the Union of european
Football Associations, the national Stadium will provide an all-weather venue
with a retractable inner roof. outside the stadium, the park-like character of the
site will be maintained. microStation powerDraft was used for 2D/3D drafting
and detailing. microStation provided file referencing and seamless integration.
located in the heart of Georgetown,―a UneSco World Heritage Site in
malaysia, the $1.8 million i residence apartment complex required a
rigorous design planning exercise. KH Architect developed a unique and
modern conceptual design for the 14-story building configured to house
11 3,000-square-foot units. each unit has a private lobby, sky garden, and
panoramic view of Georgetown.
KH Architect used microStation to perform 3D modeling and produce 2D
drawings. The 3D modeling provided the opportunity to explore configurations
with minimal impact on the site as well as eliminate conflicts. This saved
valuable time for the design team. The visualization tools enhanced the client’s
understanding of the design elements, and the luxology rendering engine
created a graphic presentation to communicate the overall design.
