clients so it can optimize and automate its own production processes.
Used in conjunction with specialized software (progenio) developed by a
Bentley channel partner, microStation is 50 percent faster than conventional
parametric cAD software for mechanical design. modeling in 3D enables
quality control checks that reduce errors. At the same time, the Bentley solution
accelerates design time by 30 percent.

In oil and gas downstream processing, disposition of low-pressure petroleum
gas during the final separation stage causes gas flaring. The russian
Government requires gas popped on flare devices to be limited to 5 percent in
order to reduce air pollution. TomsknIpIneft designed a $3.3 million low-pressure gas compressor station to dispose of the petroleum gas at the oil
processing facility’s turbine power generation plant.
An integrated engineering environment increased efficiency and coordination
among departments, improved documentation quality, and minimized errors
associated with data input. The 3D modeling delivered more accurate information
and ensured higher quality engineering, which avoided fine-tuning of the
assembly on site. The compressor station increased the utilization of petroleum
gas to 95 percent for the entire field, which meets government regulations.
