Webber Architects designed the $1.55 million Primary School Hall for St.
James Muswellbrook campus in New South Wales, Australia. Located in plain
sight of the public road that approaches the school, the new multipurpose hall
will be a gathering space for the school and community. The iconic building
combines contemporary form and materials to communicate the institution’s
ideas and motivations.
The designers used Bentley Architecture to perform 3D modeling with accurate
lighting and materials. The visualizations helped to resolve, clarify, and explain
architectural design elements in less time, resulting in cost savings and a
collective understanding of the inspiration and anticipated final result. The hall
will expand the school’s capacity for gatherings and reinforce the position of
the school within the community.
We like MicroStation because we don´t need to switch software throughout the design
process. We can make fine visualizations and carry them through the project phase.
