Vodnye Technologii Atomenergoproma took on a $200,000 design and
engineering project in Moscow, Russia, with the goal of using innovative design
strategies to install a chemical water purification system. The project entailed
the application of membrane water treatment technologies. It also required
a design that allowed the system to withstand earthquakes while using a
specialized filtration method.
The company relied on Bentley Piping and Bentley PlantSpace P&ID to address
design challenges and meet the project’s technical specifications. Using
MicroStation, Vodnye employed collaboration technology to integrate a design
team distributed over multiple locations. This directly affected the outcome of
the project by leading to a decrease in the time required in the design phase and
a reduction in the quantity of errors.
Bentley’s user-friendly interface masks an incredibly powerful set of tools that
allows M&S Engineering to deliver the highest quality product
to our clients in a very short time frame.
