Studio conti Boverio
the goal of this project was to design space for a conference room to
accommodate seven to eight people for the law offices of Casale Monferrato
in Italy. The conference room is in a new part of the original building.
The project team experienced an approximate 20 percent time savings
by using MicroStation as compared to other software. The design was
a collaboration between an architect and graphic designer, both taking
advantage of the advanced features of MicroStation.

Arts-Lux Building in Brussels
the refurbishment of the 30-year-old Arts-Lux office building assured that
the building met modern workspace-organization and energy-consumption
standards. In addition to internal refurbishment, the façade was completely
replaced – all while the building was in use. Located in an historical area of
Brussels, the Arts-Lux building’s façade had to reflect a modern image of the
client’s business. At the same time, ARCS had to ensure a seamless integration
within the nearby built environment, respecting its historical character.
ARCS wanted the façade to be serious but not austere. Models created in
MicroStation demonstrated several alternatives for each type of window and
stone tiling. These elements were easily arranged in order to reach the best
solution according to the client’s aesthetics and functional standards.
