Metro cast Fiber upgrade Design (East Lyme county)

the upgrade area encompassed 44. 76 miles of fiber plant designed and built
in this New Hampshire town – the first of nine towns included in the project.
The goal was to increase bandwidth to launch new services, reduce active
cascades to increase reliability, and reduce truck rolls to lower overall
The overall system represents 180 miles of cable plant with 30 optical
receivers and 10,038 passings. Time to complete the system was not to
exceed six months. MicroStation and Bentley Fiber allowed the firm to provide
a faster and more accurate fiber network design to be built by the client.

GIS Harmonization at Stadtwerke Goerlitz AG
With a customer base of more then 90,000, Stadtwerke goerlitz supplies
electricity, gas, water, and district heating to Goerlitz, the easternmost city
of Germany. The company also offers public transport services as well as
sewage network operations. The German branch of Veolia Wasser consists of
more than 16 companies with a heterogeneous I T landscape of CAD, GIS, ERP,
maintenance, and billing applications.
The primary goal of the project was the migration of all data into a single
GIS located at Stadtwerke Goerlitz. In the course of the project, the existing
alphanumeric technical equipment information system was replaced, its data
migrated, and its functionality reproduced within Bentley sisNE T. Bentley
sisNE T provided data models flexible enough to guarantee the migration of all
data into that single consistent database without data loss.
