Hwasung cogeneration Plant
the goal of this project was to expand the company’s job scope to include
information management over the entire plant lifecycle using 3D modeling. It
would apply this new scope to the 511.8 megawatt power and district heating
plant project in Seoul, Korea. The power facility includes a gas turbine, steam
turbine, and HRSG boiler, and the heating facility includes a peak load boiler,
district heating pump, and heat storage group.
Through 3D modeling using Bentley’s Building Information Modeling solutions,
Korea District Heating Engineering can maintain construction documents and
build a strong overall system foundation by creating an industry-standard
database and library. This database supports the firm’s plan to diversify its
business in the future to include facility maintenance.

LCH Soft Studio
LcH Soft Studio helped create a new style of mapping based on MicroStation
that serves the Fujian water conservancy and the electric power academy in
China. To keep the multithreads organized, LCH reduced the number of dialogs
and variables by using common variables in the same category.
MicroStation integrated 2D, 3D, database, raster, visualization, and animation
so all tasks were completed in one system. MDL is a complete development
environment that lets applications take advantage of the power of the
MicroStation CAD engine, and Bentley’s geospatial solutions integrate with
GIS so the system can move forward into new territory.
