INNOVATION IN UTILITIES AND COMMUNICATIONS NETWORKS
Hanjin Information Systems & Telecommunication Co., Ltd.
routing for connecting Path of Electric transmission Line
Wonju City, Korea
the inaugural project in Ho chi Minh city, vietnam, to plot the coordinates
of existing lines and transmission towers and then connect them set the
groundwork for the same process for Wonju City in Korea. Wonju has 4. 2
kilometers of existing lines and the connecting line is 4. 5 kilometers.
The team created the model via LiDAR, creating digital image mapping in
MicroStation and Bentley Descartes and exporting the renderings to Google
Earth, which resulted in KMZ files that people can visualize in 3D. Various
modules of Bentley solutions and their support for the Google format enabled
3D simulation technology to be used more quickly and easily.

Central Emergency Station in Valle d’Aosta: Emergency Localization Through WebGIS Technology
Valle d’Aosta, Italy
valle d’Aosta, a northern region of italy, is implementing a central station for
emergency services that will integrate the communications services of rescue
organizations. The challenge of the project was to create an effective and
homogeneous system that would be able to act as a regional reference point
and facilitate efficient operations.
The proposed solution is innovative for two reasons. From a logistical-operational point of view, this is the first example in Italy of a unique central
station for emergency services. And from a technological point of view, the
use of Bentley Geo Web Publisher and other web technologies not only allows
all the entities involved to access information, but it also opens the door
to increased versatility, improved maintenance, and integration with other
applications.
