this project involved the design of a road that connects two important states in
India. The design had to provide safety and mobility with partial accessibility
and be economical to construct. Its scope included the re-evaluation and
optimization of a design that had already been completed.
During execution, a large variation was found within the digital terrain model.
As a result, the designers needed to execute a revised design that could
satisfy the DPR proposals while staying within budget. Bentley MXROAD
provided the flexibility to design the geometry with the least constraints in a
very short amount of time given the complexities involved.
