De Nieuwe Mark gemeente Breda
The city of Breda in the Netherlands is truly in motion. The
redefinition of the municipal inner boundaries, a high-speed
train, the growing importance of the Rhine Scheldt Delta
region, and the economic state of the market all play an
important role. Breda needed to create designs that could
easily grow and change in time, but — more importantly —
visualize the design in a way that the involved parties could
quickly understand.
Breda decided to create its designs in MicroStation 3D
because this would not only give the design team insight in
the results of its changes, but it would also be a good tool to
communicate to all the involved parties. Breda saved at least
six months in the process of designing and getting feedback
from the involved parties, and using 3D visualization was a
major factor in the acceptance of the designs.
