SIPI Project — Real Estate Property Information System università di torino
The University of Turin in Italy owns vast and varied real-estate
holdings consisting of more than 100 buildings, totaling about
1 million square meters. The administration of this property
was further complicated by the hierarchical governing structure,
and real estate as vast as this needed an extensive and
effective organizational structure with economic control.
Using Project Wise, the university centralized its data
management to eliminate the proliferation of redundant and
incompatible data. With a common coding system for all
buildings, there are now accurate links bet ween location plans
and related data so users can easily exchange information.
The university also can quickly determine the condition of the
premises and the optimum utilization of all properties.
