Middle East. Serving such diverse sectors as transport, rail,
maritime, environment, defense, minerals, and industry, the
company requires a staff with a wide range of skills.

Bentley’s Enterprise Training Subscription (ETS) provides
Maunsell with a blend of classroom and online training to
keep its staff well-trained. The training enhances the skills
and confidence of the entire staff and helps the firm achieve
its goal of always delivering the right solutions for its projects.
Because the firm took advantage of Bentley Institute’s
instructor-led distance learning and OnDemand eLearning,
it was able to minimize the drain on its resources that results
when staff is absent from the office.
Parsons Brinkerhoff has more than 75 offices in the United
States that are using Bentley software, many with different
versions as required by clients. Internal training was proving
difficult to provide on a consistent and economical basis.
To address this situation, Parsons Brinkerhoff joined Bentley’s
Enterprise Training Subscription (ETS) program.
With the help of a Bentley training representative, a long-range
training plan was then developed that would be implemented
among all of the firm’s offices. The plan provided for a blended
learning approach that included classroom learning, distance
learning, and OnDemand eLearning sessions. The firm can now
monitor its usage of the various training approaches and use
that data to improve its blended learning plan for the future.
