FINALIST US Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg, MS
The Army is currently undergoing a transformation to meet
global changes. In 2006, the US Army Corps of Engineers
(USACE) joined Bentley’s Enterprise License Subscription
(ELS) program to ensure a consistent and simplified supply
chain for Bentley software, training, and implementation
support for its 35,000 employees.
To provide the infrastructure necessary for this change,
the USACE is deploying BIM and Project Wise for both its
military and civil works missions. Bentley Institute training
and implementation support have been vital in the success
of the deployment of these technologies within the USACE.
In 2006 USACE conducted nearly 8,000 hours of training
on 749 unique classes.
