Nan-Zhi Wastewater Treatment Plant m Wh taiwan
This $6 million wastewaster plant project in Kaohsiung City,
Taiwan, included three systems: wastewater treatment, cooling
waster circulation, and LPG tank. The plant, which replaces
an existing plant that was decommissioned and removed, had
to be designed and constructed within 11 months of the old
plant’s removal.

After adopting AutoPLANT, MWh Taiwan experienced
three major workflow improvements: accurate BOMs that
reduce spare parts and cut materials costs, the automatic
generation of isometrics, which cuts the time required to
generate project deliverables by 30 percent, and 3D
designs that pinpoint potential design issues related to
operation and maintenance.
This project involves the design, construction, and start-up of
a new power generation plant for hera S.p. A. Constructed
in Ferrara, Italy, it will be fed with municipal solid waste and
will take advantage of advanced technologies to minimize
environmental impact and pollution.
By using AutoPLANT, Ruths changed its approach to project
management and drawing workflow. The firm now creates
a project directly in 3D so there is just one drawing for the
entire project lifecycle. The time saved is about one hour for
each modification. With an average number of 200 modifications for each project, Ruths is saving about 200 hours per
project and its ROI was 100 percent in one year. Money saved
in the power generation plant project from 3D navigation
was about $20,000.
