Using 3D modeling, Biuro Projektow built a gas
dehumidification unit in Poland to remove the
water from dihydric alcohol, increasing the glycol
concentration up to 99.2 percent. The unit contains DEG and TEG regeneration blocks and a
pump station, which is designed to keep the proper glycol circulation in the system.
The main challenge of the project was to work out
a 3D model at the time of system implementation.
Usually the set of documentation is prepared by a
group of people, but using AutoPLANT, one man
was able to complete the task and then provide
sets of documentation to the rest of team members
for further processing.

Larsen & Toubro Limited is the EPC for two gas-based combined cycle power plants, at Vemagiri
and Konaseema in Andhra Pradesh, India, on a
turnkey basis. This project involves heat recovery
steam generators (HRSGs).
The HRSG in this project weighs more than 3400
metric tons and includes 1500 metric tons of heat
exchange modules supported by 850 metric tons
of steel structure. Nearly 270 metric tons of piping connects the exchangers to feedwater pumps,
water-steam separator drums, and other systems.
The HRSG includes instruments to monitor process
variables such as temperature, pressure, and level
in drums or tanks.
